Making Contributions to the Community: Groupe Boda Participating in Le Complexe le Partage Activities

On February 22, the representatives of Groupe Boda were invited to Le Complexe Le Partage - La Prairie, in order to understand their impact on the development of the La Prairie community. Complexe Le Partage is a community organization of which the mission is to ensure food security and promote food self-sufficiency for the population of the Kateri territory (including Candiac, Delson, La Prairie, Saint-Catherine and Saint-Philippe). This organization offers food, support, training and integration services in a perspective of social solidarity.
During this visit, the representatives of Groupe Boda were introduced to Le Partage’s different social programs, including “Les petites bedaines pleines”, an initiative providing nutritious and balanced lunch boxes for school students. In addition to daily food aid, Le Partage also offers several other programs aiming at creating a better community, such as its low-priced thrift store, the Guignolée La Prairie food donation and emergency support.
